Leadership at New Covenant Church of Princeton

The best church leader is a team. At New Covenant Church of Princeton, we’re blessed with an outstanding group of dedicated believers and religious leaders who conduct services, run events and keep our community on a clear spiritual path. They are extremely blessed to be covered by the leadership in the Covenant Network through spiritual mentorship, prayer, and instruction. The ministry of NCCP launched in November of 2014.

Pastor Sherry Phillips

Pastor Sherry Phillips serves as the founding and senior leader of NCCP, a ministry she launched in November 2014. Alongside her wife, Tina—her partner since 2004—Sherry celebrates a vibrant family life that includes 10 children, 4 daughters-in-law, and 10 grandchildren (with another on the way).

Driven by a deep conviction that God has called her to pastor, Sherry is dedicated to feeding the congregation through the Word, prayer, and Spirit-led counsel. Her heart’s desire is for all people to encounter God's unconditional love and grow into their true identity in Him. She is a strong advocate for the five-fold ministry, believing that her role is to equip leaders who will, in turn, build up the entire Body of Christ. Pastor Sherry envisions a "church without walls"—an inclusive community that embraces the outcast and champions a message of grace over law.

Pastor Tina Phillips

As a founding and senior leader of NCCP, Pastor Tina Phillips is a pillar of our church community. She is known for her tender heart and her "all-in" willingness to serve wherever help is needed.

Whether she is leading Bible studies, serving in Children’s Church, or ministering at the altar, Pastor Tina is driven by a passion to teach others what God has deposited in her spirit. She also leads our Outreach Ministry, Lilly’s Heart, where she pursues her vision of feeding the hungry and providing a safe, loving space for those struggling in the community.

Outside of ministry, Tina is a devoted family woman. She and her wife, Sherry, have been happily together since 2004. Their large, loving family includes 10 children, 4 daughters-in-law, and a growing tribe of 10 grandchildren (with another on the way!).

Teacher Michelle Arnold-Hale

Michelle Arnold-Hale has been a dedicated member of the NCCP family since November 2015. With a heart for service and a gift for instruction, Michelle serves in a variety of capacities, including the Praise & Worship Team and our "Grow" ministry. As a teacher, she has a unique ability to connect with students of all ages, sharing the Word with clarity and passion.

Michelle’s life is anchored by her family. She and her wife, Cheryl, have been together since 2007 and officially wed in 2015. Together, they are the proud parents of six children—five handsome boys and one beautiful girl. Whether she is leading worship or teaching a class, Michelle brings a spirit of joy and dedication to everything she does at NCCP.

Prophet Kala Morgan

Since joining the NCCP family in February 2018, Prophet Kala Morgan has become a cornerstone of our ministry and leadership. Her journey here has been one of deep spiritual growth and connection, finding a church family that stands together through every season of life.

Kala serves our community with a vibrant energy—whether she is leading the Movement Team, ministering on the Praise Team, or serving at the altar. However, her heart truly shines in the Lilly’s Heart Ministry. As the overseer of our food pantry, community meals, and street outreach, she is dedicated to meeting people exactly where they are with the love of Christ.

Kala credits her growth and character to the grace of God and the support of her husband, Josh, and their seven children.
